CEC employees take up Happy Nswana’s university sponsorship

During the handover ceremony of the classrooms CEC built at Wukwashi Wa Nzambi, in June 2019, Happy appealed to well-wishers for sponsorship to pursue his tertiary education having successfully completed his Grade 12. In response, the Managing Director, Mr Owen Silavwe made a commitment that Happy would be sponsored by Mutende Community Service Group. Happy has now been offered a place to study Bachelor of Accounting and Finance at The Zambia Catholic University, Kalulushi for a period of 4 years.

CEC, through Mutende Community Service Group, will continue to sponsor him until successful completion of his degree programme as long as he clears all his courses every semester.

Mutende is a group of volunteer CEC employees whose aim is to reach out to the less privileged in the community and complement the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility agenda.
