CEC and NamPower sign first Kudu power export agreement.

On 7 February 2013, Copperbelt Energy Corporation PLC (CEC) signed a Joint Development Agreement and Power Export Agreement with NamPower of Namibia, on the Kudu Power Project following an expression of interest to off-take 200 – 300 MW of power as a secondary off-taker for the power that Namibia cannot take.
