CEC | Notice of Dividend Payment
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Directors of Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc on 7 th February, 2017 approved the payment of a dividend of US Cents 1.29 per ordinary share which translates to ZMW0.1280 per share using the Bank of Zambia mid-rate applicable on the date of declaration.
In compliance with the requirements of the Securities Act Cap 354 of the Laws of Zambia and the Listing Rules of the Lusaka Securities Exchange, the dividend shall be payable to the shareholders registered in the share register of the Company at the close of business on Friday, 3rd March 2017.
Dividend payment will be effected from and during the week of Monday, 6th March 2017. The transfer books and register will be closed from Wednesday, 1st March 2017 to Friday, 3rd March 2017 both days inclusive.
