CEC | Notice of dividend payment
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Directors of Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc on 25th January 2018 approved the payment of a dividend of US Cents 1.6 per ordinary share which translates to ZMW0.1557 per share using the Bank of Zambia mid-rate applicable on the date of declaration.
In compliance with the requirements of the Securities Act Cap No.41 of 2016 and the Listing Requirements of the Lusaka Securities Exchange, the dividend shall be payable to the shareholders registered in the share register of the Company at the close of business on Friday, 2nd March 2018 being the record date.
Dividend payment will be effected from and during the week of Monday, 5th March 2018. The transfer books and register will be closed from Wednesday 28th February to Friday 2nd March 2018 both days inclusive.
Shareholders are reminded to provide their up-to-date bank account details and forwarding addresses to our Transfer Secretaries (Corpserve Zambia) in order to facilitate efficient and expedient payment of the dividends. Further, in the event that your details have changed since the last dividend payout kindly request for the Shareholder Account Detail Form from the Transfer Secretaries.
