CEC on Board COMESA Business Forum as Silver Sponsor
6th June 2023 Lusaka, Zambia – Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc (CEC) has announced its support as silver sponsor of the COMESA business Forum to be held on 7th June 2023.
Announcing CEC’s support to the forum, Managing Director Owen Silavwe said, “Our partnering with the COMESA Business Forum, is on the basis of our appreciation of the importance of integrating policies and frameworks that will foster trade across the region.”
The business forum which will be held on the sidelines of the 22nd COMESA Heads of State Summit, is being held under the theme ‘Economic Integration for a Thriving COMESA, Anchored on Green Investment, Value Addition and Tourism’.
Commenting on the Partnership with CEC, COMESA Business Council Chief Executive Officer, Teddy Soobramanien expressed his gratitude to CEC for the sponsorship. He noted that CEC is a strategic partner in promoting the growth of multi-sectoral industries in the COMESA region.
