CEC Renewables Board Appointments
The Board of Directors of CEC Renewables Limited (the “Board”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Banja Mkwanazi, Ms. Faith Misozi Mukutu and Ms. Mukabanji Mutanuka as Independent Non-Executive Directors with effect from 1st July 2024.

Qualifications:
MSc Finance and Financial Law, (University of London), Bachelors of Business Administration (Copperbelt University) Bachelors of Law (University of London), ACI Financial Markets Dealers Certificate.
Ms. Mkwanazi has over 20 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, with over half in executive leadership roles. She served as the Corporate Banking Director at Barclays Bank Zambia PLC (now ABSA Bank Zambia PLC) and held various roles within the bank, including Country Treasurer and Head of Treasury Sales. Mkwanazi has held various board positions in the finance sector and is currently the Executive Director of the Simpact Foundation, a philanthropic organisation aiming to bring hope to vulnerable women and children living in poverty through sustainable and transformational social impact.
Ms. Faith Mukutu

Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant & Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Ms. Mukutu is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Zambeef Products PLC and has 20 years of post-qualification experience in finance. She possesses diversified work experience, a comprehensive educational and training foundation, and an exemplary career in spearheading finance strategies for national and international organisations, including Zambia Sugar PLC and Zambian Breweries PLC.
Ms. Mukabanji Mutanuka

Qualifications:
MSc. Sustainable Energy (Africa Research University), Bachelor of Economics (University of Namibia).
Ms. Mutanuka is a Renewable Energy and Development Economist with over 9 years of extensive experience in the off-grid energy sector, working primarily in Southern and Eastern Africa. As the Zambia Minigrid Initiative Coordinator, she is responsible for providing technical support, stakeholder convening, and developing programme concepts to support the Presidential ambition to electrify 1,000 communities. Ms. Mutanuka has recently held senior positions, including Country Manager for Engie Power Corner Zambia, Head of Minigrids for Zambia, Head of Business Development for Southern and Eastern Africa at Engie Energy Access, and Programme Officer for the Whitehouse-led Initiative Power Africa Off-grid Energy Programme in Zambia.
