CEC Rights Offer – Investor Open Day presentations to shareholders

On Friday 7 February 2013, Copperbelt Energy Corporation PLC held an Investor Open Day to educate its shareholders on the CEC Rights Offer which opened on 3 February 2014 and closes on 28 February 2014 (1400hrs) – earliest date.

CEC seeks to raise the Zambian Kwacha (“ZMW”) equivalent of approximately USD70 million in equity capital by way of a renounceable rights offer to existing CEC shareholders – in compliance with the Listing Rules of the Lusaka Stock Exchange (“LuSE”).

The Circular to Shareholders and prelisting statement (collectively, the “Rights Offer Document”) has been approved, published and posted to respective shareholders from Monday, 3 February 2014.
