Joe M. Chisanga

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant

Experience: Joe is a chartered accountant with over 40 years’ experience both in the public and private sectors. He is an Accredited Fellow of the Institute of Directors of Zambia and Member of the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa. Joe is a Trainer of Trainers in Good Corporate Governance certified by the Global Corporate Governance Forum/International Finance Corporation. He has served different companies in various capacities as, among others, Financial Controller, Company Secretary, Internal Auditor and Management Accountant. His board directorate experience includes having served as Vice Chairman of the Zambia Revenue Authority and Zambia Postal Services Corporation, board member of the Zambia Privatisation Agency and as a member of the Audit, Risk and Compliance committee of the Zambia Airports Corporation. He has also served as chairman of the board of directors of Laurence Paul Investment Services Limited. Joe is a past president of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Zambia Branch (CIMA).

He serves as chairman of the Audit Committee and sits on the Risk and Investment Committees.
