Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc (CEC) is an independent power transmission and distribution Company with interests in closely linked businesses in Zambia and the African region, including optic fibre based telecommunications.
CEC Plc invites bids from reputable organizations and individuals to lease its former garage, mechanical and body repair workshop buildings.
Location
The subject properties are located along 23rd Avenue Nkana East, Kitwe at Central Switching Station (CSS) and approximately 4 kilometers from the Central Business District. The extent of space is approximately 1245.34m2 with two units of workshops which include office space, concrete slab floor and paved parking space; all enclosed in a wall fence.
Bidding instructions
- Interested parties or bidders should have demonstrable management ability and financial status to manage the above-mentioned property and must be willing to meet the terms and conditions of lease.
- Duly completed bids must reach Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc by 14:30 hours on Friday, 21st August, 2015 and should be deposited in the tender box located at the Copperbelt Energy Corporation Security Reception.

Clarification during evaluation
- During the evaluation, CEC Plc may request the applicant for any clarifications. The applicant shall furnish the necessary clarifications expeditiously by post, courier or any other faster means of communication to CEC Plc at the address given.
- Failure to provide information essential to evaluate the applicant’s qualifications, or provide timely clarifications shall entitle CEC Plc the right to declare such a bidder as non-responsive and reject the document.
