Notice of changes in directorate

Pursuant to section 3.59 of the LuSE Listings Requirements, the Board of Directors of Copperbelt Energy Corporation PLC (the “Board”) wishes to announce the resignation of Mr. Mabvuto Chipata as Director with effect from 14th April 2022.

The Board would also like to announce the appointment of Mr. Tisa Reuben Chama as Director with effect from 14th April 2022.

Mr. Chama is a mining engineer with over 30 years’ practical experience in mine planning, business planning, mining projects and mining operations. He has held various leadership and supervisory roles in different multinational mining companies across Africa, including AngloGold Ashanti, S3 Zones, Barrick Gold Corporation, Royal HaskoningDHV and Barrick Africa.

He is the current Chief Technical Officer and acting Chief Executive Officer of ZCCM-IH PLC.

The Board looks forward to Mr. Chama’s valuable contribution to the Company and thanks Mr. Chipata for his contribution to CEC during his tenure and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
