Notice of dividend payment

Notice is hereby given that the Directors of Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc on Thursday 9th September 2010 approved the payment of dividend of US0.40 cents per ordinary share which translates to K20.00 per share using the exchange rate applicable on the date of declaration.

In compliance with the requirements of the Securities Act Cap 345 of the Laws of Zambia, and the Listing Rules of the Lusaka Stock Exchange, the dividend shall be payable to the shareholders registered in the share register of the Company at the close of business on Friday, 24 September 2010.

Dividend payment will be effected on or before Friday, 15th October 2010.
