Notice of interim dividend payment – 2010

Notice is hereby given that the Directors of Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc at a Board Meeting held on Wednesday, 17th February 2010 approved the payment of an Interim Dividend of US 0.60 Cents per ordinary share which translates to K28.19 using the Bank of Zambia mid exchange rate applicable on the date of declaration.

In compliance with the requirements of the Securities Act Cap 354 of the Laws of Zambia and the Listing Rules of the Lusaka Stock Exchange, the dividend shall be payable to the shareholders registered in the share register of the Company at the close of business on Friday 5th March 2010.

Dividend payment will be effected on or before Friday, 26th March 2010
