BOILER MAKER (01)
Job Purpose
Carry out fabrication works including modifications of mechanical components to maintain the Company’s system equipment and structures cost effectively.
Key Accountabilities
- On a daily basis, provide support to various maintenance sections requiring boiler-making activities
- Carry out boiler-making and welding activities which involve fabrication or construction of various metal structures e.g. fabrication of steel pipe works of various sizes and shapes, cable support, plastic pipe support, etc
- Ability to interpret mechanical fabrication and assembly drawings
- Fabricate new metal structures in accordance with given drawings and specifications
- Follow safe work practices and report all health risks and safety accidents, incidents and hazards
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
- Full Grade twelve (12) Certificate;
- Craft Certificate in Boilermaking;
- Minimum of 2 years working experience;
- Ability to work with minimum supervision; and
- Must be member of EIZ.
